About Us

Clarkstown Equipment Co., Inc. was founded in 1954 and was purchased by the current owner, Joseph F. Lois, Jr., in 1977. Joseph retired from day-to-day operations in 2005 and left the business in the capable hands of his daughter, Sara, and son-in-law, Gary.

Clarkstown Rentals has been serving Rockland and Bergen Counties from our location on Route 59 in Spring Valley for over fifty years. In 1999 we embarked upon a complete renovation of our facility, including the addition of a state of the art repair shop to better serve our customers.

Here at Clarkstown Rentals we offer a wide variety of meticulously maintained Equipment and Party Supplies. You can always expect to rent a clean and well functioning piece of equipment from us.

In addition, we carry a wide variety of the supplies that you may need to complete your project. Our courteous and knowledgeable staff is always ready to help you do it right, from tool selection to tips and pointers, we are dedicated to giving you the best service available.

We are an authorized service dealer for Stihl Power Equipment, Briggs & Stratton and Bosch Power Tools, to name but a few. Our mechanics frequently attend manufacturer's training seminars and are certified to do warranty repairs.
